POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y. — Karl Menuau scored two goals as Our Lady of Lourdes defeated Rondout Valley in a Mid-Hudson Athletic League contest on Thursday.
The Ganders, 2-5-1 in MHAL play, took an early lead when Austin Amato scored at the seven-minute mark. August Rubin provided an assist.
Menuau notched the equalizer at the 15-minute mark off an assist by Dean Eljamal. The Warriors went ahead on Alex Crysler’s score about a minute later. Jack Yough assisted.
Menuau scored a second time on an unassisted goal at the 21-minute mark before Sean Guaman closed out the scoring with a goal at the 34-minute mark. AJ Geis provided an assist.
Reid Wogan made 11 saves for the Ganders, 3-6-1 overall. Ned Van Loan and Dylan Conte has two saves each for the Warriors, 7-2 in MHAL play. Atticus Eglinski was also in goal for Lourdes, but didn’t make a save.
The Warriors improved to 8-4 overall with the win.
